DMCA & Copyright Policy

VidSaver respects copyright. We host no video library of our own, but we take rights holder complaints seriously and respond to valid notices.

What VidSaver stores

VidSaver does not host, index or distribute a catalogue of videos. Files are fetched on demand at a user's request and deleted from our server automatically after a short expiry window. There is therefore usually nothing for us to take down.

Sending a notice

If you believe the service is being used to infringe your copyright, send a written notice that includes:

  • your full name, address, telephone number and email address;
  • identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed;
  • the exact URL or material concerned;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law;
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf;
  • your physical or electronic signature.

Send the notice through our contact page with "DMCA notice" as the subject.

How we respond

Valid notices are acted on promptly: we remove or disable any material in our control and, where appropriate, block the associated link from being processed. We may also restrict access for users who repeatedly abuse the service.

Counter notice

If you believe material was removed in error, you may send a counter notice containing your contact details, identification of the material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification.

Misuse

Knowingly filing a false claim of infringement may expose you to liability for damages. Please be sure before you submit a notice.
