Terms of Service

By using VidSaver you agree to these terms. They exist to keep the service lawful, available and fair for everyone.

Last updated: January 2026

Acceptable use

You may use VidSaver only to download content that you:

  • own or created yourself, or
  • have explicit permission from the rights holder to download, or
  • are allowed to download under an applicable exception in your local law.

Public content only

VidSaver works with publicly accessible content. You must not attempt to use it to access private accounts, login-protected media, paywalled content, age-gated material, region-locked media or DRM-protected files. We do not implement, and will not add, any circumvention of those protections.

Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use any file you download, including compliance with copyright law, privacy law and the terms of service of the platform the video came from. VidSaver is a tool; it does not grant you any rights in the content.

Fair use of the service

Automated scraping, bulk or playlist harvesting, resale of the service, and any attempt to overload or probe the infrastructure are not permitted. Requests are rate limited and abusive traffic may be blocked.

Availability and disclaimer

VidSaver is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Platforms change constantly, so some links may fail or some qualities may be unavailable. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
